Anna + Andrew | Callanwolde Fine Arts Center
It’s no secret that Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is one of our favorite venues in the heart of Atlanta. I mean, who doesn’t love a historic home full of elegance and timeless decor? We work there pretty often and we are so grateful for the friendships we have made through our partnership with this venue.
The Callanwolde team graciously invites us to participate in their open house each year, and we always love this because we get to meet so many sweet couples and their families. It’s always such a positive experience for both the vendors and the attendees, and their Open House this past February was no exception. I was 36 weeks pregnant (whewwwieee!) and the nicest woman walked up and introduced herself to me. Pam and I hit is off immediately as we talked about her daughter’s July wedding and their love of Clemson University (go Tigers!). She pretty much booked me on the spot, and I’m so glad she did!
Anna and her groom, Andrew, were a dream. Kind, gracious, hilarious, organized (but laid back), responsive, and open to our suggestions. We just adored working with them!
They held their ceremony offsite at a local church, and then guests drove themselves back to Callanwolde for the celebration. It began with cocktails on the front terrace, and then guests moved indoors for dinner + dancing. They had over 200 guests in attendance (man, oh man, could we feel the love for these two!), so we placed tables in the adjoining Winter Living Room in order to accommodate a seat for everyone.
Zest Catering slayed the buffet setup and catering service (per usual), while DJ Hollon (with Amp’d Entertainment) played only the best jams that reminded everyone of their favorite college dance party.
When photographer Jordyn Schirripa sent over their wedding day gallery, we literally “liked” every single photo! The flowers from Bantam and Bloom were truly some of our favorites, and their team was a breeze to work with. Take a look at the gallery below, and you’ll see why we fell in love with Anna + Andrew.
